The Final countdown 2...1...0

Well,
Here it is Thursday the 13th of September, Only 2 Days left before the hunting season officially opens, This year really caught up to me with all of the excitement of the prehunt scout with over 1100 pictures of the outdoors within 30 days or so, I bought Liz a new jacket and gloves to match her hunting outfit and paid for our permits yesterday. I think I am all set, I dont know how well the pictures are to see clearly but if all goes as plans the 2 bucks in the photo will go home with us on Saturday.

Count down to the hunting season

Well today is Sunday the 10th of September, 6 more days until the start of the bow hunting season, Myself and Liz went out this morning and did some live fire shots from our stands we did quite well. I have identified this big bodied Buck as my shooter for this year, we also have found a three pointer that we will harvest as he is not the smartest and probably wont see another year anyway. I have heard talk of people saying that they were interested in taking up archery, If you have any interest let me know as it is alot of fun. I anyone wants some meat let me know.

More creatures

I have a few more pictures to put on the blog I caught a glimpse of a big furry man like creature roaming in the early morning light. I hope to get a shot at this big buck this year.

More Pictures As the season wears on

In the past week or so I have been out checking for scrapes and signs of the big bucks, the below picture is the buck that I would love to get. I have never been one to trophy hunt but I would love to shoot this guy. Last week I put on my camo and sat in my stand and just observed the beautiful outdoor view and the fresh air. I am excited as we only have ten days left before myself and Liz start this years Deer hunting season. More to come
